Winter 2011
The Scarlet S yearbook is a visual historical document available to all members of the Shelby Community. Its focus centers around the activities and academics of Shelby High School , but also includes other aspects of Shelby life. The Scarlet S is a modern version of the Tatler, which was first published in 1913. The 2010-2011 staff is very busy with the production of this year’s edition of the Scarlet S . The theme for the 93rd edition is "Elements”.


The members of the class must be members of the junior or senior classes. The yearbook class advisor is Mrs. Amanda Mahon. Seniors Coley Ebersole and Kristi Ream are the editors in chief of this year’s book with Josh Ingle working as the Business Manager.

The staff has remained busy fundraising by selling ads, copies of the book and other things to support the cost of the book and special features!

"Elements" is an edition of the Scarlet "S" that you will not want to miss out on seeing! Reserve your copy today! Final deadline to order is March 31st. The cost is $47.00 or $53.00 with name-stamping. Please note that we do NOT order extra copies, so you MUST order by March 31st to guarantee a copy of "Elements".

Fall 2009

The Scarlet S is a modern version of the Tatler, which was first published in 1913. The 2009-2010 staff has begun production of this year’s edition of the Scarlet S . The theme for the 92nd edition is “My Time”

The members of the class must be members of the junior or senior classes. The yearbook class advisor is Mrs. Amanda Mahon. Seniors Jessica Milliron and Kelsey Dudics are the editors in chief of this year’s book with Logan Kirk working as the Business Manager. The other editors and junior staff members roles will be announced at the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year.

One unique activity taken on by this year’s staff, their family, and friends, will be a fundraising project at Shelby Senior High School on Saturday November 7th, 2009. This project consists of a dinner, raffles and an Alumni basketball game which will be open to all SHS Alumni! Look for more information on this project in the coming months! The funding from this project will enable the staff to include special features in this year’s book, “My Time”.

The Scarlet S is a modern version of the Tatler, which was first published in 1913. The 2008-2009 staff has begun production of this year's edition of the Scarlet S . The theme for the 91st edition is 'Seen, Heard, Noted, Quoted'.

The members of the class must be members of the junior or senior classes. The yearbook class advisor is Mrs. Amanda Mahon. Seniors Karli Hartings and Leslie Kranz are the editors in chief of this year's book with Lane Whited working as the Business Manager. The other editors and junior staff members roles will be announced at the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year.

One unique activity taken on by this year's staff, their family, and friends, will be a fundraising project at Shelby Senior High School on Saturday November 1st, 2008. This project consists of a dinner, raffles and a donkey basketball game which will include Yearbook staff, SHS staff and several community members! Look for more information on this project in the coming months! The funding from this project will enable the staff to include special features in this year's book, 'Seen, Heard, Noted Quoted'.

The theme for the 90th edition will be announed soon.

The members of the class must be members of the junior or senior classes. The yearbook class advisor is Mrs. Amanda Mahon. Seniors Abbey Bartosiak and Chelsey Edlridge are the editors in chief of this year’s book with Jacob Penwell working as the Business Manager. The other editors and junior staff members will be announced at the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year.

This project consists of a dinner, raffles and a donkey basketball game which will include Yearbook staff, SHS staff and several community members! The 2007-2008 staff has begun production of this year’s edition of the Scarlet S. The theme for the 90th edition is “Coloring Outside the Lines”.
